Immune dysregulation in Long COVID
I will discuss the results of the immune characterization of our DECI-LOCO cohort. In this ongoing study, patients with a short (<12 months) and longer (>24 months) disease duration were included in 12/2023 and 01/2024 and followed longitudinally. At inclusion, all patients had PEM, severe fatigue and a median residual functioning of 25-35%. Our results suggest an overall more anti-inflammatory phenotype in patients, with a few exceptions in specific immune populations.
