Identification of biomarkers for post-COVID-19 condition in paired pre- and post-infection samples from nationwide population cohorts

This presentation explores biomarkers that may help predict who develops Post-COVID Condition and improve its diagnosis. Using blood samples collected before and after SARS-CoV-2 infection from two large Dutch population cohorts, the study identifies biological changes associated with persistent fatigue, offering new insights into disease mechanisms and the development of earlier, more personalized diagnosis and treatment.
