Association Between HHV-6 Reactivation Signatures and Monocyte Dysregulation in Long COVID

This presentation investigates whether the reactivation of latent herpesviruses contributes to the development of Long COVID. By combining advanced genomic and immune profiling techniques, the study identifies persistent viral signaling and immune dysfunction, providing new evidence that herpesvirus reactivation may play a key role in the biological mechanisms underlying Long COVID and highlighting potential new therapeutic targets.
